Your Truth and Your Circumstance

Who are you? All too often, we put our attention on things that blind us from the truth of our true self. We lose sight of our position in life and forget that we are children of God, individually created with the tools we need to fulfill our purpose.

Security Checkpoint

I’m so blessed to have a career in which I get to travel all over the world speaking with amazing people and seeing beautiful places. Along with my travels comes the reality of airport security lines and screenings. Sometimes quick, but often inconvenient, airport screenings have become an accepted and necessary part of our travel process. We all accept the security screening and the inconvenience of it because it is a system that is in place to protect us. It is designed to protect us from terrorists and evils that will harm or hinder our lives. But now that we have all accepted the need for security checkpoints to protect us from terrorist people meaning us harm, what security system do you have for yourself to guard you from the very real, terrorizing thoughts and fears that hinder you and bring your life to a halt? Protect yourself! Why let those terrorist thoughts run through your mind free and clear of any security checkpoint? Why let them continue to keep you from living your dream? Why let those terrorizing fears keep you stuck in a bad relationship, or job, or any other condition? If I have learned anything about fear

Let Mistakes Be What They Are; A Gauge

To step into an empowered state of mind is to gain control over the ability to label events in a manner that strengthens our journey instead of weakening it. For the disempowered mindset, ideas cast tremendously scary shadows that tend to cripple one’s movement towards success. One of these crippling ideas is the big scary monster often referred to as a “mistake.” Sometimes we don’t take action towards our goals because we are afraid to make a mistake. Mistakes aren’t something to be afraid of. They can be helpful in our quest towards our goals and dreams. Don’t think of them as a reflection of failure; think of them as a scientific result of your current methods. If we don’t take mistakes so personally, they can serve as a guide for how to improve our process. © Steve Maraboli From the book, “Unapologetically You“

The Truth About Potentiality

We are beings of infinite potentiality. That sounds wonderful, but what does it mean to have infinitely potential? If we are all so infinitely potential, why do very few of us experience happiness, good health, or success?  Remember this; the word “potential” is what the word “possible” becomes when it wears a tuxedo. It does not guarantee anything. It doesn’t mean something WILL happen, it just means it CAN happen. Potential remains an intangible possibility until you participate; until you ACT. You are the activator that bridges potentiality and reality. You are the point of origin for things to transcend from the realm of the possible to the tangible. Take action towards the life you desire! When we do not take action, potentiality becomes the soil that houses the seeds of your regret. We all know the regretful feeling of unrealized potential. We all know what it feels like to join a gym and not go… to feel a love we didn’t express… to feel sorry but not apologize… to desire but not venture… to promise but not deliver… we have ALL been there. I know you have heard the spiritual masters and gurus tell you how important your infinite

Jumpstart

I love reminding people of the greatness they have within. Sometimes it feels like I have performed a spiritual and emotional jumpstart.  While in the military, I was stationed in North Dakota. The landscape was beautiful and the people were kind, but the winter weather was very, very cold. The unforgiving cold led to a common situation of seeing cars needing a jumpstart. When I would see someone on the side of the road or in a parking lot with a dead battery, I would pull up next to them and take out my jumper cables and by attaching my living battery to their dead one, they were able to start their car. During that process, my functioning battery doesn’t have to teach their dead battery how to be a battery. The process of jumpstarting doesn’t teach the battery to be what it already is. All the living battery does is remind the dead battery of its initial potential. It reminds it of its power. Once the dead battery is back to functioning within its potential, I disconnect my cables and wave good-bye as they drive away. When people send me emails, or speak to me after my seminars, and
