The experience of God is a subjective one; a personal awareness…
God is to be felt in your core; not to be measured with an instrument…
To argue or defend our personal experience of God is a waste of energy…
To impose our subjective experience of God on others as an objective reality is an insoluble task and a misuse of time…
If the idea of God was to be held captive by the written word, Jesus would have been an author instead of an activist…
Jesus walked ahead of his disciples and told them to “follow” him; yet with all the walking of their travels, they never arrived… it’s ALL about the journey…
This practice of “following” is lost in the calling of one’s self a Christian; placing Christ as your colleague… this leads to the hubristic act of judging others and losing sight of the great message… the message is best lived when one is a student of Christ… placing Jesus back in His role as Teacher… one to be followed…
No matter what your religion, the most effective way to represent it is to avoid arguing and defending the details of the story, but to faithfully live the beauty of the message…
YOU are the measure… God is most forgiving when YOU are… God is most loving when YOU are… God is most helpful when YOU are… God is most willing when YOU are… God is most accepting when YOU are… The greatness or folly of God is expressed through YOU…
Each day we are born into a new dimension of endless opportunities to be a grand expression of God; not with our words, but with our deeds…
