    Date Night

    I wish the younger version of me had realized the importance of “date night.” It was never about the restaurant, the movie, or the flowers… it was about pausing life’s busyness and placing intentional focus on each other. 

    In a world that constantly pulls our attention in a thousand directions, date night becomes a reset button… a refocus on the WHY of it all… a reminder that love thrives on presence, not just proximity.

    Date night is conscious contact… not perfection, but intention. It strengthens the foundation of the relationship, nourishes connection, invites healing laughter, sparks silly and deep conversations, and reignites intimacy.

    It reminds you why you chose each other in the first place—and why you continue to choose each other every day.

    So may you make this a part of your lives… and please, take this advice from a lamenting aficionado of love: let date nights nurture a deeper bond, a lasting intimacy, and the quiet reassurance that no matter what life brings, WE MATTER.
