The world offers quiet when the storm goes away,
It promises rest at the end of the day.

And the world takes away every promise it makes.

A beautiful breath in the spaces we live.
Not as the world gives, fleeting and small,
Your stillness is steady when the heavy winds fall.
So let not your heart be troubled tonight,
Step out of the fear and into the light.

Your peace isn’t quiet from the absence of sound,
It’s a sacred protector when the chaos is loud.
An anchor that holds when the canvas is torn,
The deepest assurance before we are born.
It doesn’t demand that the waters be still,
It just whispers safety wherever they will.
