Blindsided by a medical emergency… I’m so GRATEFUL to the Surgical Team and everyone at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island. I was born in that hospital and came very close to dying there, but they saved my life… 5 times. THANK YOU!!
As I begin my long road to recovery, I am grateful to be alive and to have the opportunity to practice what I preach. Slow and steady, I will get stronger and healthier. I’m also grateful to be surrounded by loving and BADDASSS friends, family, and teammates.
Two weeks in the ICU, but now… Onward! Cheers to fresh starts, first responders, doctors, and the UNFUCKABLEWITH nature of a determined spirit.
